Crenshaw Kids!

  During opening of Sunday school Dr. Horn explained how the Holy Spirit enables us and equips us to serve God.    She removed a battery from a flashlight and asked someone to play with it.   Nothing....then she added the batteires and it turned on.    She talked about how Jesus promised that the Holy Spirit gives "power" to the church.   It is not us....it is HIS power. Thank you Emma for making sure the computer was up and running smoothly. Ask a Crenshaw Kids about the red paper plate above their heads! GAME TIME!     "ABOVE THIER HEADS"   The tongues of flames rested upon their heads.... Our activity sheet had flames of fire coming from the tops of the disciples heads. "Suddenly" It was a surprise.   The disciples knew that the Holy Spirit would come, but not when. Ok....what if a hippo came in your backyard?    Well, you would be shocked.    It isn't normal.   It isn't natural.   How do you think the diciples felt when flames were coming out

Crenshaw kids continue our study of Jesus after His resurrection.   Jesus wants us to share.   Jesus wants us to work together as a church/team to share His love.    Working together to create a "Jesus" collage! Here, Adalyn and Anne Paige are making a birthday card for a sweet former member of our church! Happy Birthday MARCELLA BULLOCK!   She turned 90 this week! Clay will be a maestro one day!   He has wonderful choir members! We shared the playground with 3 friends from across the street today!   They came over to see what fun we were having and joined us! Kindergarteners painted love rocks to share at our blessing box.   When kids come with their parents for something in the box, they may spot a pretty rock to take home to bring a smile!
