Jesus Heals and Forgives- Jesus is the friend who is always there for us.

Crenshaw Kids met in the sanctuary for whole group instruction before preparing to sing in worship!

What a great time we had learning about the love of friends and our #1 friend in Jesus!   Thank you Dr. Horn for helping to lead us!

We begin our lesson with the story.
If you missed it...here is a recap!

We talked about friendship and how the friends of the man who was paralyzed loved him so very much to take him to Jesus!    Then we talked about what a good friend "does" and "does not" do.   Thumbs up if a good friend is kind and forgiving.   Thumbs down if a friend is a bully or gossips.

Miss Alice gave everyone a treat and they had to be "paralyzed".   Arms stretched out to the side...no moving!    Now, "eat your treat".   You cannot do this if you cannot move!?   How can you get the treat?   That is right...someone has to help you.   What a fun activity to show how to be a friend when they are in need of the extra help.

Clay was so sweet to be our example of the paralyzed man!    Thanks Clay!

Dr. Horn helped us understand how very very crowded the house was that Jesus was visiting.   We squished as close as we could in a circle!

Then it was time carry and lower the man down into the house.    We did not use Clay because I was afraid we would drop him!   HA HA.  So we used our "Jesus" doll from our classroom to show how the friends lowered him down into the crowded house.

Thank you to Avery and Jase and Jack for helping me to get the man down safely!

I love this picture of Milo.   He wanted to hug the man and congratulate him for being healed!
