Happy Wednesday-Prayer Series Continues... The story of Daniel in the Lion's Den


Theme:  A regular prayer habit.
Bible Passage Daniel 6
It is important to be consistent with talking to God.   It is crucial that we build a strong relationship with the one who is a friend ALL the time.    

We learned that Daniel was intentional about when and were he prayed.   Are we?   Let Daniel challenge us to have a time we set aside to pray.  























Children's message begins in 10:00 worship!!


Thank you Pastor Steve for reminding us about the story of Jesus in the temple.    When we loose something we look for it....Jesus' mom and dad found Him in the temple.   When we don't have the answer we can look for the answer in the bible and in His house.

Crenshaw Kids and families please keep our Ashleigh in your prayers.  Ashleigh was admitted into Children's Hospital at Richmond,  VCU on October 17.  Ashleigh joined us a few months ago in Sunday School and she needs our voices.   Ashleigh is in the 6th grade at Kenston and loves music and drama, cheering and just enjoys life with friends all the time! From Mom yesterday: Update on Ashleigh she is still dealing with pressure on her brain which is still causing a lot of things going on with her body. She is still having issues with talking and seems to be favoring her right side more than left side. She has had some occupational therapy and physical therapy should be in here today. The neurologist said that they will keep her on the medication for the pressure a couple of more days and may possibly have to do another mri at the end of the week to see how things are doing. We are seeing very small improvements and are taking things day to day right now. She hasn’t had anymore fever

Praise God From Whom All Blessings Flow! Answers to prayers and Shining with HIS light!

ANSWER TO PRAYER!    ASHLEIGH was discharged from the hospital November 1!    Praise be to GOD!   Continue to pray for this amazing light for Him! My blog last week was on facebook and of course email.   It had shares and views of over 2000!!!    God is listening to His children. "Fall" Flavored cinnamon spice and everything yummy! The Pumpkin Prayer! Our "coffee shop" entertainment!   Thank you Eddie, Lauren, Isabella and David!!!   AMAZING!   FUN CONTINUED on this beautiful afternoon! I spy a pumpkin patch on the playground!!! Pick a pumpkin and then let's eat!   Walking tacos enjoyed by each and every one!   Thank you Crenshaw Kids and Youth for your help!!! Let the carving and fun begin!!! Walking tacos and dribbling the ball takes talent! October 31....Trunk or Treat at the Presbyterian Church....Miss Alice's car decorated to SHINE!

The First Leon Christmas Program has begun! Fruit of the Spirit Party FUN!

Children from Mt Nebo, Mt. Gazerine and Crenshaw began our community children's Christmas program this past Sunday!    If you want to participate or know of a child or youth who does not have a music program at their church, please extend an invitation!    Anyone is welcome!    We rehearse at 9:00 on Sunday mornings, however churches can learn these songs on their own and join together for the final rehearsals!   How exciting!
