Lent Journey…Prayer. What does a pretzel have to do with helping us with our prayers?

 

Today we explored how to pray!    Dr. Horn used the 5 fingers to help us remember what we can pray for.   

God wants to be our friend.   

He wants us to talk to him like we would talk to our friends at school!  

  

During our Sunday school time we went to several different stations to learn how to pray for different things.   

Write a worry on a rock/shell and give it to God by placing in the basket.

Praise!    Write why you love God.

In this next prayer station, students had to sit quietly and be still.   

That is a hard one, but we sure did a great job listening to what God may be speaking to our hearts.

Take a post it and write something you may need forgiveness.
