Wisemen still seek Him!
The New Year began with our celebration of Jesus is here!!!! The students read the story of the arrival of the Kings who had traveled for miles to see this new baby that would be the Savior, the Hope, the King of all Kings!
Wise men today are still seeking for Jesus. We don't look for him in Bethlehem, because he is no longer there. He is on his throne in heaven. We don't need a map to help us find him -- we don't even need a star to help us find him. We can find our way to Jesus by reading God's Holy Word! The Bible is our map and our star that leads us to Jesus.
Here are some of the activities that the children enjoyed that made the story come alive! After decorating a crown, the kids got to be a king for the day surrounded by loving teachers! The younger students put together a wiseman craft shown below.
During the group time, all smiles as the students sang praises and played instruments to the newborn King! Come on ring those bells! Everybody sing!!
Thanks to our teens for helping out during Children's church! Students made buttons to wear that said "Wisemen still seek Him!" Andrew is looking great as a King!
Love these smiling faces!
