Celebration of Palm Sunday and beginning of Holy Week! 49 students 0-12th grade and 15 adult volunteers celebrated on this amazing Palm Sunday!

Sunday School began with our songs, pledges and offering.

Preparing our song for waving the palms and processional at 10:00!  Hosanna, Hosanna, Hosanna in the highest!

Youth Sunday School!    These amazing teens 6th-12th grade and their teachers, Sara, Travis, Candance and Jerry are geared up and starting the confirmation process!   They are in their new room that is so teen friendly and welcoming to any who want to join!   INVITE a teen to hear God's message!

10:00 Worship!    Students celebrate that Jesus came to save us and give us hope!  We begin our Holy Week!

Children's church was a "journey".   The children had a passport and we traveled thru the steps that Jesus took that Holy Week.   We stopped at each station that had a visual representation that brought the scriptures to life!   Thank you so much to:   Sue Mayo, Ellen Connalley, Jackie and Bill Reid, Libby and Larry Parrish,  David and Beth Pleasants, John and Pat Goode, and Sara Goad for setting up the stations!    Our plan was to take these down over the weekend, but we are extending until early next week.  Contact me asap if you would like to arrange a time after hours to go through the journey.

Station #1 Streets of Jerusalem....Triumphal Entry!

Jesus riding on a donkey!

Station #2
Jesus cleanses the temple!
Thank you Doc McGhee for reading the scripture!

Tables were overturned and things all over the floor!

Our journey continues....follow the arrows!

Station #3
Home of Simon....Woman anoints Jesus with precious perfume/oils.

Station #4.  The upper room...Jesus and His disciples at the last supper.   Jesus predicted a betrayal.

Next, our journey takes us to the Garden of Gethsemane!  Station #5

Station #6 Jesus is arrested and stands before Pilate who condemns him to death.  This station was very serious and the students were silent as they took turns pounding a nail in the cross.

Thank you to Charlie and Carsten for reading the scriptures!

Station # 7 He is not here he is RISEN!!
Thank you Phyllis Procise for this amazing mural!

Here is an example of the smiles after the experience!
