Crenshaw Kids!

 We have started our four week lessons on Genesis.   We started with God creating the earth, sky and seas, night and day, animals. We made a "creation graffiti wall"!   Check it out! The assignment was to look at these pictures as if you were looking at them for the very first time....do they wow you?   They should because God created each and every one of them!  His creation is amazing.     This past Sunday our study was God made man.   He made people in His image.  We are all beautiful and unique.   No one is exactly the same.    We used our fingerprint which is unique to create art work to display in our hallway.    Have a great week and look forward to being together Sunday.

Look at this box of crayons.    What it would be like if all of the colors in the box were brown ?   Or all green ?  Or all orange ? It wouldn't be very fun, would it?   We need all of the different colors to create a beautiful picture.  A rainbow would not be a rainbow without different colors!  In the same way, God created everyone different.  Some people are loud and funny, and some are quiet and shy.  Some can sing and paint, and some are good with numbers and knowledge.   Altogether we can make something beautiful!  School is starting and as you meet new friends remember we are all different and we are all unique and beautiful!   Make new friends and be thankful for our differences because we make a beautiful world!! I hope you have August 14 on your calendar to be at church at 9:00 sharp!  This is a perfect time to invite a friend to join you! Excitement is in the air as we will celebrate being together after summer family fun!     There are many things planned for this fun filled morning!   We will begin with Sunday school followed by Crenshaw Kids leading worship! During worship your backpack and school year will be blessed!  Please bring your backpack...it can be empty :)   We will put it on the alter and pray for your success in 2022-23!    Next, we will continue the fun and fellowship in the pavilion and playground area.   Bring a picnic blanket and be ready to have a great lunch and play some games with friends.   I will have sidewalk chalk and balls and other yard toys.   If you have one to share, please bring it along.
