Jesus Heals and Forgives- Jesus is the friend who is always there for us.
Crenshaw Kids met in the sanctuary for whole group instruction before preparing to sing in worship! What a great time we had learning about the love of friends and our #1 friend in Jesus! Thank you Dr. Horn for helping to lead us! We begin our lesson with the story. If you missed it...here is a recap! We talked about friendship and how the friends of the man who was paralyzed loved him so very much to take him to Jesus! Then we talked about what a good friend "does" and "does not" do. Thumbs up if a good friend is kind and forgiving. Thumbs down if a friend is a bully or gossips. Miss Alice gave everyone a treat and they had to be "paralyzed". Arms stretched out to the side...no moving! Now, "eat your treat". You cannot do this if you cannot move!? How can you get the treat? That is right...someone has to help you.
