And the angel said…Do not be afraid! I bring you good news!
Week #1 of our "Jesus is Coming" month was enjoyed by all! Our scripture is from Luke 2:10-11! The children will hide its words in their hearts. Thank you, Miss Shirley for helping Wes with his leading of the scripture!
As you scroll through the pictures, tell your parents about our lesson. An angel appeared to Mary and gave her the news that she would be a mom to the Savior of the world. The angel told her not to be afraid.
Sunday school time we worked on our classwork and during children's church we made a beautiful ornament. The ornament is beautiful like Mary. Every time we look at this ornament hanging on our tree...let it be a reminder of Mary and the angel and not to be afraid. God is with us.
Thank you to Sarah and Travis Andrews for leading our 6th-12th grade group! Here is a peek inside their classroom.
Sue Mayo requested that our teens work on candy bags that will be included in the gifts given to Heritage Hall! I think maybe I saw a wrapper or two in the trash!! HA HA. Miss Sue is appreciative and I know the recipients of the candy bag will have a smile on their faces this Christmas!!
