The Great Commission! “GO”. Matthew 28: 16-20

Jesus told His disciples to go and tell others about Him. He will not leave us.   He will be with us every step of the way. We just need to be willing to tell others about a life in Christ.  It is up to us to plant seeds and let the Holy Spirit work through us to attract others to Him.   His power is the key.   We cannot do this on our own.

Whitt is looking very cool today as he digs into the word of God!    I love that church and learning is a priority for these children of Crenshaw!

Our littlest angels are like sponges!   Soaking in the love of their leaders and hearing the word of God!   The craft today was to cover the "earth" with our fingerprints.   What fun we had!  Thank you Nancy for leading us!

Our Kindergarten class played a game of GO, STOP and Walk Slowly.   Miss Pat held up a color that represented the movement and the kids loved playing!   This activity reinforced Jesus telling us to GO and tell others about Him with enthusiasm and urgency.   He told us that He would be right with us and give us power from the Holy Spirit.

During Children's Church our older students joined their parents in adult worship and participated in communion.

Remaining Crenshaw Kids went out to look at our new blessing box and learn about how we can add things to the box to help others.   The weather was perfect on Sunday.   As soon as we walked out the door, one of the kids said, "Wow, what an amazing day!"

I hope that we can all be reminded to thank God for sunny days!

Here are some smiles from the playground before parent pickup!
Thank you boys for helping out with our younger students!    Thank you Cooper for inviting another "Charlie"!    We hope you had a great time and will come back anytime you wish!

Thank you to Sara Andrews for a few pictures and information from yesterday’s District Youth Conference meeting.

"Charlie was extremely brave to be blindfolded and led through an obstacle path all while trying to hear to the small, quiet voice of his guide through the chaos and noise of all the others. I think he did well as the other young man ended up in the parking lot."

The youth then started to plan the themes of the future rally and retreat.

I believe several if not all signed up for the 4th Sunday Church Hop where they will visit as a group another church’s worship service to promote the DYC.  More information should be coming on this, but I believe it starts this month.

There is also a bonfire scheduled at Ocran on June 10th.
