Easter…He is alive! What came next? On the road to Emmaus!
Crenshaw Kids!
When you take a hot bath, what happens to the mirror? [It gets foggy.]
That’s like what it is for us while we are on this earth. The things of God can be foggy. He can be mysterious.
God is not out to trick us. He is on our side. He wants to reveal Himself to you. He has plenty of clues for you, but are you listening? And...do we understand that at first the answer could be "foggy".He will reveal to us His plan when He knows we are ready.
This week in Sunday School we talked about things that happened after Jesus rose from the dead. Our focus was on the road to Emmaus.
So what can we learn from this story?
Sometimes things happen to us that we can't understand or we find out the answer later on. But we do know that God loves us and He has given us a promise that He will always work things out for the good of those who love Him ( Romans 8:28) and my all-time favorite verse, reminds us that "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, " plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future."
Thank you to our teachers who serve without hesitation so that our children can hear God's word! Thank you Miss Betsy!
